It is a science, the study of a lifetime, to which you may exhaust yourself but never the subject. It means going out in God's out-of-doors getting close to nature, fresh air, exercise, a sweeping away of mental cobwebs, genuine recreation for tired tissues. It is a cure for care and an antidote to worry.

One of the oldest courses in Ontario, set in the northeast end of Guelph, only a nine hole course featuring large old-growth trees lining nice wide fairways, The many subdivisions bordering the fairways can be a problem for the wayward tee-shot, as long as you don’t hear glass breaking or any painful screams – take an OB (out-of-bounds) and move on. The greens are ok but the architecture around them is a little boring, with some questionable bunkers. A historical full length nine with a nice restaurant and curling club which is a nice place to host corporate/special events. A great place for a senior or junior membership.
