It is a science, the study of a lifetime, to which you may exhaust yourself but never the subject. It means going out in God's out-of-doors getting close to nature, fresh air, exercise, a sweeping away of mental cobwebs, genuine recreation for tired tissues. It is a cure for care and an antidote to worry.

Situated around the Grand River and on the backside of a subdivision, it was somewhat of an enjoyable course to play. Featuring 27 holes and a driving range, The Moors nine was the lesser of the three in regards to the subdivision that comes a little too close to the course for my liking. No fences or trees to block any of the household noise like somebody trying to start their lawnmower in the middle of your backswing. It was a pretty flat layout, but had some very solid holes that just spoke a traditional style golf course. There are quite a few large and old forested areas and some pristine holes along the Grand River. The Fairways were surprisingly not that wide, and a lot of heavy rough, but still room for some wayward tee shots. The greens were a little faster than I expected, not like lightning but very enjoyable with some of the slopes and feeder pin positions. They were medium sized greens and had some pretty decent bunkers surrounding them. Some of the tee blocks and greens were a little to close together for my liking, and the teenage help wasn't aware that we would be rerouted as they were hosting a golf tournament and didn't want to start us in the middle of it. I had already put my ball of the tee before a lady seemingly to be in charge escorted us to the Moors, the lesser of the 3.
