There may be more to the name EZ street than meets the eye, as they were fairly easy on the soundproofing between the simulator and the kid’s party room right next to us. How can a person concentrate on a delicate chip shot into a screen on the wall with a young child screaming at the top of his lungs right next to you?
Typical simulator golf tends to over exaggerate fades and draws and chipping is tough - as it is hard to create loft. With a lot of practice one might learn to master the ways of the simulator. Unfortunately it might take 2 hours for 18 holes for 2 people. At $30 per 30 minutes you can spend a lot of time at a real course or at a driving range dome in the winter. Besides simulators are becoming homebound anyways with such systems as the Golf Launch Pad and Optishot.
Warning: Do not think you can go there and it will be like a real game of golf – if you expect just to swing your clubs and get a sometimes accurate representation of what your shot may look like – then maybe no one will hear you getting upset (when your shot does not register with the sensors) through the very thin walls! |
